Tommy's joke live from New York!

How do you turn a dishwasher into a snowplow?
Give her a shovel!

Be home soon for the last big push on the scoot!

Sick and slackin'

I apologize for the complete lack of attention to the blog. I ended up working 7 days in a row then got sick. I have done nothing on the bike but have every intention of finishing the wiring tomorrow. And getting it back together before I leave for new York.

Rigatonni ala Tesla

Or as it is more commonly called, electrical spaghetti. I really did not think it would take this long. But I was wrestling with a tail light/ground issue. If, and that's a big if, I understand it right. The tail light is the only thing not grounded on the back half of the harness. And the doubt is slowing me down.

Update

Not much has gotten done lately. The motor mount was supposed to include the mounting hardware and didn’t so it’s not on. The wiring harness was supposed to be universal but did not include pigtails to go to the left and right hand controls so I am short  about 80 feet of wire. At first I was going to just cut off the excess wire from the rear harness and splice it to the hand controls, but if I had a short later I would never be able to tell which wire went where if the colors did not match. So I will have to purchase more wire on payday.

Parts have arrived

Well the limited number of parts I ordered came yesterday. I probably won't have time to install them until this weekend. I need to pick up a soldering iron and oil lines and plug wires from the store and the oil tank and system will be complete and the electrical will be complete with the exception of the battery.
